What is happening (verified 2026-10-11)
GloriaFood, the free online ordering system for restaurants, is being discontinued. We re-checked the primary sources on 2026-10-11:
- GloriaFood's website (gloriafood.com) displays a service update: "GloriaFood will reach end of life on April 30, 2027." It says the company remains committed to supporting existing customers through that date, that Oracle does not offer a direct replacement, and that it wants customers to be aware of FoodAmigos, a restaurant technology provider offering onboarding resources for GloriaFood customers who choose to move.
- Oracle's food and beverage page (oracle.com/food-beverage) says GloriaFood products and services "are being discontinued, with full end of service scheduled for March 31, 2027", that Oracle is "no longer accepted signups" (sic), and that it remains committed to supporting existing customers through the transition.
- FoodAmigos, the provider named by GloriaFood, runs a GloriaFood migration page (FoodAmigos GloriaFood page) that gives April 30, 2027 as the closing date. FoodAmigos is a commercial vendor, so treat its page as marketing as well as information.
We have not found any official statement about what happens to your data, ordering links or QR codes after the end date, or about refunds for prepaid modules. Treat those as unknown.
Conflicting dates and what to do about them
Two dates, both from primary sources: April 30, 2027 (GloriaFood's own site and the FoodAmigos page) versus March 31, 2027 (Oracle's food and beverage page). Several third-party sites repeat one date or the other, and some say only one is correct. We cannot tell you which is operative, and neither page explains the difference. Both were checked 2026-10-11 and may change.
The practical answer is to plan around the earlier date. If you finish by the end of February 2027, you have a month of buffer against March 31 and two months against April 30. Ask GloriaFood support for the date in writing if you rely on it contractually (for example if you prepaid for a POS plan).
Timeline
| When | What happens or what to do |
|---|---|
| Now (Oct 2026) | No new sign-ups. Export menu, customers and orders; screenshot settings; list every place your GloriaFood link appears. |
| Nov to Dec 2026 | Shortlist two or three replacements, request demos and written quotes, and ask how each imports your menu. |
| Jan 2027 | Build the menu on your chosen platform, connect payments and printers, and place real test orders. |
| Feb 2027 | Run both systems in parallel, then move your website button, Google listing, social links and table QR codes. Tell regulars. |
| Mar 31, 2027 | "Full end of service" per Oracle's page. |
| Apr 30, 2027 | "End of life" per GloriaFood's notice. |
The months in the first four rows are our suggested plan, not announced milestones. The last two rows are the only dates the sources state.
Migration checklist
Do the export steps first, before you have chosen a provider. They cost nothing and keep your options open. The full step-by-step is in our article GloriaFood shutdown: what restaurant owners should do now.
1. Menu
- Generate a Fetch Menu key in your GloriaFood admin (in the integrations area; the exact labels differ between guides, so look for the third-party or custom integration setup) and save the JSON or XML your key returns. Each key covers one restaurant, so multi-location groups need a key per location. Source: Ontabee's guide, which cites GloriaFood's integration documentation.
- Photos are reported not to be included in that export, so save the ones you own from the menu editor, ideally replacing stock images with your own.
- Write down modifier rules (for example "choose one crust", "up to four toppings") and size-specific options; these are where migrations break.
2. Customers
- Export your client list (names, phone, email, order totals) from the Reports lists in your admin, with the period set to all time, as Excel or CSV. Third-party guides (Enacton) describe Reports then Lists then Clients; check your own account because labels vary.
- Note which customers agreed to marketing. Only contact people you are legally allowed to contact, and tell your new provider which ones opted in.
3. Orders
- Export order history from the same Reports lists area, a year at a time if large, for your records and your accountant.
4. Settings you must rebuild by hand
- Delivery zones, delivery fees and minimum orders (screenshot the map and settings).
- Opening hours, prep times, holiday hours, tax settings, receipt templates.
- Promotions, coupon codes and loyalty rules.
- Printer and tablet setup, and notification settings.
5. Domains and website
- If your website ordering is just a button or widget on a site you control, nothing about your domain changes; you only replace the button code or link.
- If you built your site with GloriaFood's website builder or bought a domain through it, we could not find official guidance on moving it. Ask GloriaFood support in writing, identify who is the registrant of the domain, and make sure you hold the login before the end date.
6. Payment accounts
- GloriaFood's pricing page says its online payment service connects the ordering system to your own payment gateway and that "the money does not pass through us". If that is how you take payments, your merchant account is yours; check whether your new provider supports the same gateway, and ask about processing rates and payout timing.
- If you prepaid for any paid module (payments, promotions, POS), ask in writing about refunds. We found no official statement.
7. Every place your link appears
- Website button, Google Business Profile ordering link, Facebook "Start Order" button, Instagram and TikTok bios, Yelp or TripAdvisor profiles, email signatures, table QR codes, printed menus, flyers and delivery bags.
8. People
- Brief staff on where new orders appear and how to mark items unavailable; post a notice for regular guests with the new link.
GloriaFood pricing recap
For context when comparing replacement costs, GloriaFood's pricing page (GloriaFood pricing, checked 2026-10-11) lists: unlimited orders, unlimited locations, no commission, no monthly fee and no setup fee for the core ordering system; and optional paid items of US$29 per month for the online payment service, US$19 per month for advanced promo marketing, US$49 per month per location for the restaurant POS (2-year commitment) and US$0.50 per guest for reservation deposits. Replacements that include marketing, apps or support will rarely be free, so compare total cost, not just the headline fee. Our comparison of ten online ordering systems shows how each charges.
What to look for in a replacement
- The order types you use now: pickup, delivery, scheduled orders, QR table ordering, reservations (a separate need if you used GloriaFood's reservation widget).
- Menu import: ask whether the vendor can import from your Fetch Menu export and keep modifier rules intact.
- Total cost: monthly fee, setup, card processing, per-order or guest fees, and contract length. GloriaFood's no-commission model is not the norm.
- Kitchen workflow: printer or screen compatibility with the hardware you own.
- Your own channel: ordering from your website, link and Google listing, not only a marketplace.
- Data export and exit terms: the lesson of this shutdown.
- Support during migration: who loads the menu, and how quickly can you reach a person?

Frequently asked questions
When does GloriaFood shut down?
Two dates appear in primary sources. GloriaFood's website says it will reach end of life on April 30, 2027. Oracle's food and beverage page says full end of service is scheduled for March 31, 2027 and that Oracle is no longer accepting sign-ups. Both checked 2026-10-11. Plan to be fully moved before the earlier date.
Is GloriaFood still free?
GloriaFood's pricing page lists free unlimited orders, unlimited locations, no commission and no monthly fee, with paid options: online payment service at US$29 per month, advanced promo marketing at US$19 per month, a POS at US$49 per month per location (2-year commitment) and reservation deposits at US$0.50 per guest. It no longer accepts new sign-ups, and the service is ending.
Can I still sign up for GloriaFood?
No. Oracle's page says it is no longer accepting sign-ups.
Does Oracle offer a replacement?
GloriaFood's notice says Oracle does not offer a direct replacement and points customers to FoodAmigos, a restaurant technology provider that offers onboarding resources for GloriaFood customers. You are free to choose any provider.
How do I export my GloriaFood menu?
GloriaFood has a Fetch Menu integration that returns your menu as JSON or XML through an API key generated in your admin panel. Third-party guides say item photos are not included and must be saved separately. Customer and order lists are reported to export from the Reports area. Menu paths and labels can differ by account, so check your own admin panel.
Will my ordering links and QR codes keep working after shutdown?
Neither GloriaFood's notice nor Oracle's page says. Assume anything pointing at GloriaFood stops working at or before the end date and replace every link and QR code in advance.
What should I look for in a replacement?
Order types you use today, how your menu moves over, payment processing in your region, kitchen printing or screens, total monthly cost at your order volume, contract terms and data export. See the checklist on this page and our comparison of online ordering systems.
