Best GloriaFood alternatives: how to choose

There is no single best option for every restaurant. This guide explains the main types of GloriaFood alternatives and how to compare them.

Three step migration illustration

Why restaurants are looking

Source and date: As of 2026-10-11, the GloriaFood website (gloriafood.com) displays a service update stating that GloriaFood will reach end of life on April 30, 2027, that existing customers will continue to be supported through that date, and that Oracle does not offer a direct replacement. The notice also points customers to a provider called FoodAmigos. Note that Oracle's own food and beverage page (oracle.com/food-beverage) gives an earlier date: full end of service scheduled for March 31, 2027, with new sign-ups closed. Plan around the earlier date, and see our GloriaFood shutdown hub for the timeline and migration checklist. Check both sites for current wording. GloriaFood and FoodAmigos are trademarks of their respective owners; FoodOrderingSystem is not affiliated with either.

Types of alternatives

Dedicated online ordering platforms

Focused on direct ordering from your website and social profiles. FoodOrderingSystem is in this category.

POS-integrated ordering

Ordering offered by a point-of-sale provider, which can simplify tickets and reporting if you are already on that POS.

Website-builder and plugin ordering

Ordering added through a website platform or plugin. Convenient if your site already runs on that platform.

Third-party marketplaces

Apps with their own customer base. They can bring new guests but are separate from your own ordering channel.

White label and reseller offers

Ordering provided by an agency or reseller under their own brand. See our white label page.

FoodAmigos

Named on GloriaFood's own notice as a provider offering onboarding resources for GloriaFood customers. We have not evaluated it here; review it on its own terms.
